Our Community

We are proud to work closely with our local communities and aim to have a positive impact on the environment around us by getting involved and contributing to causes where we can

Our commitment to being involved with our local communities continues across the Islington and Hackney boroughs in 2016. We continue to focus on charities or organisations which help young or vulnerable people, as well as creative groups and projects.

We are delighted to be working again this year with Key4Life, a charity which helps young male offenders back into the workplace after prison. Towards the end of 2015 we trialled our first ‘work taster’ placement with one of the young men on the Key4Life programme, which was a great success. We hope to continue this partnership and offer more opportunities to other young men to come into the Currell workplace in 2016.

As well as our commitment to local charities and organisations, we are also committed to providing positive environments for our clients, customers and staff. In 2016 our aims include:

  • Pro-actively working with Key4Life
  • Partnership with Little Angel Theatre
  • Working with and sponsoring a number of local schools
  • Supporting local community projects
  • Supporting Future Hope (a charity in India) through fundraising and support in kind

On behalf of everyone at Little Angel Theatre, I would like to say a huge thank you to Currell. Your continued support makes a huge difference to us and what we are able to achieve.
