Currell Commercial and Chartered Surveyors was started by Chris Currell in 1990 when he operated out of a small office off Liverpool Road, N1 with a staff of two. In 1998 Anne Currell joined Chris and opened our first residential office at 321 Upper Street, N1.

The company has grown with the addition of further offices, Clerkenwell (2000), Hackney (2004) and Victoria Park (2006), whilst 2010 saw the opening of Currell Management and a new office for Currell New Homes.

The Currell Group of companies, still overseen and run by Chris and Anne, now comprises 6 offices and employs over 50 staff who can deal with the full range of property related matters from commercial and residential agency, through property management to professional work and the sale of UK property overseas. One thing which remains despite our growth is our commitment to, and reputation for, professionalism, integrity and exceptional market knowledge.

We couldn’t fault Currell when they sold our penthouse in Clerkenwell. They achieved the best price they could and they never took their foot off the gas. They were totally professional in every way and kept us informed of everything that went on. Their performance really dispelled for us a lot of the myths about estate agents. I’ve used other agents for lettings and appraisals in the area and I wasn’t going to use Currells originally but they gave us an honest and realistic appraisal.
