Clapton is divided into Upper Clacton and Lower Clapton by Lea Bridge roundabout.

Lower Clapton is diverse and full of shops and restaurants selling Caribbean, Asian and Turkish produce.>Upper Clapton is peaceful and leafy and considered to be one of the most photogenic districts of Hackney.
