Lucienne O’Mara is a London-based painter working mostly in portraiture, who graduated from City & Guilds in 2011. She creates large-scale watercolours, using a variety of washing and re-working techniques to “stain” her canvases with layered images, building on them until an abstracted, vaguely humanoid depiction appears.
Lucie graduated with a BA in Fine Art and has had work displayed in various shows across London. She was awarded ‘The Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers’ award in 2011 and has been selected to take part in the Turps Banana Studio Programme this year.
We are incredibly pleased to be displaying some of Lucie’s amazing, larger than life watercolours in our new office and anyone is welcome to visit our Battersea Office on Lavender Hill SW11 and take a look at her work.
