As proud sponsors of Highbury Grove School, we sent a team of nine enthusiastic employees back to school, to take part in their fundraising quiz last Friday 27th February.
Perhaps a little unaware of how stiff the competition would be, coming in last, we reminded ourselves of some important school values – it’s the taking part that counts!
Other participants of the quiz were parents and teachers of Highbury Grove School, all supporting the Friday fundraiser to make some money for their growing outward bound programme. Kicking off the quiz with head-scratching rounds featuring questions taken directly from the classroom on art and history, we finally found familiar territory in the more unconventional parts of the quiz. This included rounds such as cocktail tasting and music, where we managed to scrape back some desperately needed points!
Although unable to catch up on the scoreboard, we were delighted to take part in the event, which raised nearly £5000 for one of the top performing schools in the borough.
A big thank you to all Currell team members who participated and showed their support, and to Highbury Grove for hosting a great event.
